Walk With Me
Join Our Walk With Me Planning Committee!
Our very first Walk With Me was a success this year we registered 1000 participants and 82 Walk teams, and raised $71,000 for children with disabilities. We are in a wonderful position now to build on this success and grow our event in 2010.
To do this, we are also seeking to grow our Walk committee. The time commitment is one evening meeting per month, Sept May, and whatever time the volunteer would spend in working on Walk. Our particular need is for volunteers to recruit corporate Walk teams, by signing up team captains at corporations, other organizations, or among friends and family. Our ideal candidate would agree to secure either $5000 in corporate sponsorship or recruit 5 Walk teams. The first committee meeting will be held Tuesday, September 15, at 5:30pm, in the Board room at Easter Seals Southwest Human Development; address is 2850 N. 24th St. in Phoenix. Portraits of Opportunity
An elegant evening showcasing agency programs and families
through professional photography
This unique event will be the evening of October 15th at Memorial Hall in Steele Indian School Park. All proceeds will support agency programs for young children.
